These two pieces were an exercise we did in class.
I painted the black and white piece first (it is india ink on watercolor paper). The colored piece is acrylic paint on canvas. The original picture for these abstractions is actually one of the five "close-ups" of a charcoal hand piece (from the 14) posted on September 11th. Can you figure out which one it is?
